A beginner’s hell:

You walk into a club or a place of a party.
And there you notice that every other guy seems to dance much better than you do.
Other guys are more experienced.
They make some exciting moves you have not learned yet.
Seems that you don’t have any chances with these nice looking ladies.
Why should girls dance with me?
Every other guy seems to be much better company for them…

I’ve seen many guys who just sat in the corner for the whole evening or left early.

So… Besides attending classes for a few more months before showing up again, is there anything else you could do?

Yes, and quite a lot.

Read on for social dancing tips for beginners – and you’ll know how to compete with more experienced guys and attract more girls to dance with you.
You do not need to be a PRO to succeed.

Hi there!

How’s your summer going on?

Just for you – good old post found here and here.

Although it seems it was written few years ago, there’s a lot of truth in it.

Enjoy!

————-

Salsa by Neeraj Maskara

Here’s a funny text I found written by Neeraj Maskara, very talented Indian/Swiss dancer but apparently also guy with some humour …:

Salsa = An art degree awarded by the Global Academy of Social Ice-breakers enabling men and women to redefine terms such as stardom, disposable income, vacations, insomnia, fashion, nutrition, personality, gossip, self-confidence, weekends, partying, relationships and commitments based entirely on their ability to use their hands and legs according the sound produced by two small pieces of wood.

Salsero = man who develops serious allergy to committed relationships because his dancing ability allows him to hold mass quantities of women in his arms any night of the week

What motivates you to dance salsa?

Or, rather, WHO motivates and inspires you to dance?

Watch this movie to know if you have not guessed it :)

cuban_furyAlthough the plot is rather predictable, the movie is still fun to watch.

Enjoy!

Hi again!

Recently we found out that:

Dancing is fun.
Girls love salsa (so you should, too).

And now we have even more interesting subject.

Why should YOU become a good salsa dancer?

Well, why not?
You would not know at least without trying.

And I see 2 main obstacles:

  • Either you doubt you can make it
  • Or you do not know how to learn salsa more efficiently (and become a legendary salsa dancer, highly popular among girls and women)

Hi there!

This is second (introductory) post.
If you missed the first one – check here.

So, last time I answered a question “to dance or not to dance” (“to be or not to be” )

Now why do I recommend salsa to everyone?
Both for guys and for girls?

And why I remove my hat (sombrero, maybe) and take a deep bow for people who created salsa?

Because creators of salsa knew what women want! Continue reading
